Support Animal Humane New Mexico’s Miracle Medical Fund Today!
Animal Humane New Mexico, a local shelter dedicated to finding loving homes for pets in need, is in need of support for its Miracle Medical Fund. This month alone, the shelter rescued 36 chihuahuas from a hoarding property and 14 cats and kittens were abandoned near the shelter. Many of these animals require basic medical care, and donations to the Miracle Medical Fund go directly towards providing them with the necessary treatment.
One of the shelter’s adoptable pets, Lolli, a 10-month-old cattle dog mix, is looking for her forever home. She is a sweet pup who knows basic commands and would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of exercise and have a playmate. Lolli is available for adoption at Animal Humane’s westside adoption center.
Animal Humane has multiple locations, including its main location on Virginia Street, a westside center on Coors Boulevard, and an adoption center at PetSmart on Eubank Boulevard. The shelter is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
For those interested in adopting a dog or cat from Animal Humane, they can view the available pets on the shelter’s website. Additionally, the shelter is always accepting donations, supplies, and volunteers to help support their mission of finding loving homes for animals in need.
